Deciding between audit and tax is an important first step when choosing a career in accounting. If you have chosen tax, and are looking for a fulfilling internship program, then Beaird Harris is the place for you!

Our Spring Internship Program gives students quality real-world experience, an insider’s view into this fast paced industry, and a foundation upon which to build a career. Interfacing directly with clients, partners and senior tax managers, you will prepare tax returns, work on special projects and have the unique opportunity to develop your business advisory skills.

Students typically enter Beaird Harris though a spring internship program and many join our team full-time upon graduation. However, if you’ve completed a previous tax internship and have a rock star GPA we’re always looking for entry level tax associates to join our team.

- Qualifications
- Completed Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and be enrolled in or have completed Intermediate Accounting I. Tax Accounting is NOT required.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic. Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail. Strong written and communication skills.
- Responsibilities
- Preparation of tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120-S)
- Prepare individual tax projections to ensure proper tax planning for the client.
- Client interface on tax questions.
