Steve joined Beaird Harris Wealth Management, Inc. in 2000 after 20 years with a national financial services firm. Steve had substantial management responsibilities in addition to assisting individual clients with their financial planning needs. As Managing Director, his duties are split between providing investment advice to clients and overseeing the overall operation and continued success of the firm. Steve is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Council on Foundations and the Investment Fiduciary Leadership Council.

Steve was chosen as one of the best financial planners in Dallas by his peers in the December 2006 issue of D Magazine, and again in January 2009. He is a licensed Investment Advisory Representative and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Steve has been quoted in various publications including the Wall Street Journal, Marketwatch.com, CNN Money, Investment News, The L.A. Daily News, Yahoo Finance and Registered Rep.

Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1977 from Abilene Christian University and he has done postgraduate study in the fields of investment, insurance, employee benefits, income taxation, retirement and estate planning. He has served on the Board of Directors of T Bank, as well as several non-profit organizations.
