Dallas, TX, February 2017 – Beaird Harris, a Dallas-based Certified Public Accounting and Wealth Management Firm providing proactive tax, accounting, and business consulting services, as well as independent, fee-only investment management and financial planning solutions, is pleased to announce three new shareholders.  This leadership addition will bring Beaird Harris’s total shareholders to 16.

Our recently expanded ownership transaction enabled us to invite three of Beaird Harris’s talented employees to take a larger personal stake in their careers at Beaird Harris by becoming shareholders.  Finding individuals with talent, passion, and the client focus we demand at Beaird Harris, is difficult, and it’s often even more difficult to retain these key contributors.

We are thrilled to have Genny Cordell, Carla Medrano and Jimmy Zimmerman become shareholders of Beaird Harris. Continuity in our team allows us to maintain our client-centered culture and keeps everyone focused on delivering the highest quality tax and financial advice. MEET THE NEW SHAREHOLDERS

Genny Cordell, Tax Shareholder:  Genny joined the firm in 2009.  With nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting, she has become a go-to resource for clients seeking advice on tax-savings opportunities, mainly in the healthcare, real estate, and oil and gas industries.  Her responsibilities with the firm include tax compliance and planning, as well as review of tax returns for a clientele that includes corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals.  Learn more about Genny Cordell. 

Carla Medrano, Tax Shareholder:  Carla joined the firm in 2012 as a seasoned tax professional. With nearly 14 years in public accounting, she has extensive experience in a wide variety of industries and specialized experience in healthcare, not-for-profit, ministries and entrepreneurs.  Her responsibilities with the firm include tax compliance and planning, as well as review of tax returns for a clientele that includes corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals.  Learn more about Carla Medrano. 

Jimmy Zimmerman, Wealth Management Shareholder:  Jimmy joined the firm in 2015.  With nearly 20 years of experience in personal finance, he understands the tremendous responsibility and integrity required to oversee a family’s personal wealth.  Jimmy’s primary responsibility includes advising high net worth families in building customized plans around wealth accumulation, distribution and multigenerational transfer needs.
